The Heber-Overgaard Community Resource Network Board of Directors meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at the Heber-Overgaard Fire Department. Everyone is welcome to join us for these meetings!

Call JuneJune Call President
June Call has been an Arizona-licensed realtor since 1987. She has owned and operated Skyline Canyon Realty, LLC in Heber-Overgaard since 2006. She has held several offices, including president of the White Mountain Association of Realtors. June also operated Sassy’s Café in Heber for three years. Sassy is June’s nickname, and it suits her well.
June lived in the greater Phoenix area for nineteen years. In 1999, she purchased her first cabin in Heber-Overgaard. Prior to moving here full-time, she did what most people do—traveled here on weekends and holidays to enjoy our wonderful community.
She has served as president or board member of the Rim Country Senior Center for five years. She was also president of the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce for eight years.
June assisted in launching HOCRN and is very involved on a day-to-day basis. HOCRN has an amazing, dedicated, hard-working board of directors, which has made her involvement a rewarding experience.
June was born and raised in Oregon and moved to Arizona in 1987. She and her husband moved to Grants Pass, Oregon, late in 2022 to be near her mother. She continues to be licensed and active in real estate in Heber-Overgaard. Her hobbies include reading, walking on the beach, and baking.

Cason LonnieLonnie Cason Vice President
Lonnie’s professional career included nearly 30 years in the Phoenix area working for a major auto parts retailer. His corporate responsibilities included managing Customer Service, Product Liability Claims, Justice Court and Small Claims Court Defense. He also spent time managing the Print Shop Manager, Mail Room Manager, gift cards, including training and reporting on all expenses & statistics. All of which related to operating a department responsible for providing excellent service to retail customers at 5,000 + retail locations across the U.S. He was also responsible for employee/team member relations and performance evaluations. He has extensive experience mediating and negotiating settlements.
Lonnie has performed home repairs for 20+ years. After leaving his corporate position, Lonnie has leveraged his home repair experience to own and operate his own company; 5 Star Handyman LLC. The company offers professional handyman services specializing in small projects usually 2-hours to 2-days in length.
As the owner of his own company, he often waives his fees or reduces his fees to assist a family in need. His company offers services at no charge to our community through local 501c3 organizations. Since 2014, he and his husband have been Co-Presidents of an LGBTQ gun club; focusing on training and safety. They currently have over 1,200 members. Since 2013, they have been members of the Arizona Elk Society (AES) aiding in fund raising, forest habitat rehabilitation and chainsaw work in the forest. Lonnie and his husband are also members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Arizona as well as Trustees at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Lonnie began his community service as a Boy Scout. He frequently looks back on the values he learned as a young man serving others within his community. A few areas that he has provided service are: First Aid Certification, CPR Certification, Stop the Bleed Certified, and is Certified by National Forest Service as a chainsaw Sawyer. (First “A” certified and now “B” certified)
Native to Northeastern Arizona, Lonnie has one daughter and three grandsons ages two to 16. He met his current husband and was married in 2016 shortly after gay marriage became legal.
When Lonnie is not doing home repairs, he enjoys spending time at his Alaska condo, hunting, fishing, collecting guns, hobby gun smithing, reloading ammunition, casting lead bullets, woodworking, making furniture, and recently learning to use a wood lathe.

Martin AmyAmy Martin Secretary-Treasurer
Amy has worked as an office manager for Rim Country Senior Center and managed an active RV Park in Heber-Overgaard. Amy is an Arizona native and has lived in Heber as a full-time resident since 2011. Amy assists her husband (licensed general contractor) with their thriving construction company doing commercial and residential work.
In the early years of her over 30 years of marriage, Amy managed her household and successfully homeschooled her four children plus another 25 students of all ages. Her curriculum included reading, writing, arithmetic, and life skills (home economics).
Since living in Heber-Overgaard, Amy has found a great deal of community pride and has loved being a part of that comradery. She considers one of her superpowers as the ability to survive through multiple home renovations while living in the home and simultaneously educating children with her sanity still intact! Her ability to easily adapt to new situations while working her way around obstacles proves to be an amazing feat.
Her hobbies include volunteering, reading, needlework, kayaking, baking, and gardening.

Colman ChrisChris Colman Board Member
Chris is a payroll and administrative professional retiring from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits after twenty-four years. During her time at “Southern”, she held the positions of director of human resources and senior human resources generalist for the Arizona and New Mexico divisions.
Upon retirement and move to Overgaard, Chris served on the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce Board for two years. During this time, she found a second “career” at Northern Arizona Animal Clinic and worked the front desk for five years. She is also currently in her second year as secretary for the Forest Trails 1 HOA.
Chris continues to be busy and is currently working for Scottsdale Education Center where she handles their accounting functions.
Chris and her husband of forty-six years, Randy, are Iowa natives but have lived in Arizona since the early 1980’s. They have a daughter and son (born on the same day five years apart!) and three grandchildren.
Chris enjoys watching sports, reading, and playing cards. She prides herself on her sense of humor and her Midwest work ethic.

Montandon MikeMike Montandon Board Member
Michael is a broker and the co-owner of Providence Commercial, LLC, and Montandon Land & Investments, LLC. Mike’s previous positions in his professional career include, but are not limited to, vice president of business development and government affairs at DC Building Group and managing partner at Insight Investment Partners, where he focused on San Diego County, Phoenix, and Las Vegas markets for a diverse range of asset classes. Mike was also previously the managing director for Voit Real Estate Services in the Las Vegas office. During his 12-year service from 1997 to 2009 as mayor of North Las Vegas, Mike was the director of government affairs at Core Construction and has over 20 years of experience in management, construction, commercial appraisal, and land planning. Before his tenure with Core Construction, Mike worked for Nevada Construction Services and was a senior appraisal analyst with Bank of America.
In addition to his professional career, Mike has served on several boards and committees. The most recent appointments include the board of directors for Valley Bank of Nevada, the Las Vegas Chapter of NAIOP, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), and the Nellis Air Force Base Support Team. Mike also served as president of the board of directors at Freedom Classical Academy and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada. Mike completed the Harvard University Program for Senior Executives at the John F. Kennedy School of Government and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University.
Mike enjoys anything outdoors, particularly camping, hunting, and hiking. He is married to the beautiful Antoinette, and they have five children.

Piva JohnJohn Piva Board Member
John is the owner-operator of Heber-Overgaard Chevron and Dairy Queen. He worked for Safeway, Inc. for over 30 years. His most recent roles were vice president of marketing for Northern California, Nevada, and Hawaii and vice president of retail operations in southern California. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, and marketing from Chadron State College–Nebraska. He completed the Executive Leadership Training Program at the University of Southern California.
John has served on several boards, including the co-chair Safeway Corporate Diversity Board, the San Diego Food Bank, and the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife of over 40 years were both born and raised in Nebraska. They have two children and three grandchildren.
John enjoys watching Nebraska football and volleyball. He and his wife like attending the Mogollon High School sporting events. He also plays bridge and often hosts friends to play the game.

Purcell JohnnyJohnny Purcell Board Member
John graduated high school in 2023, and moved back to the Heber Overgaard area living with family. He has always wanted to help in all the ways he can. Working as an apprentice for 5 Star Handyman, he has been acquiring skills through his mentor Lonnie Cason. Being part of 5 Star Handyman, he has expanded his volunteering by assisting the community members maintain their homes through local 5013C organizations.
John began his community service while being part of the boy scouts, helping at other nonprofits. Recently John became a member of the Arizona Elk Society where he volunteers by building water catchments for the wildlife and assisting in fence repairs within the local state forests.
In his spare time John enjoys hunting, target practicing, fishing, playing pool, and video games. In 2024, John got to experience traveling to Alaska and go deep sea fishing.
Being part of HOCRN John is hoping to expand his involvement within the community through volunteering and engaging others to participate in joining community non-profits doing the same.
