She has held several offices, including president of the White Mountain Association of Realtors. June also operated Sassy’s Café in Heber for three years. Sassy is June’s nickname, and it suits her well.

June lived in the greater Phoenix area for nineteen years. In 1999, she purchased her first cabin in Heber-Overgaard. Prior to moving here full-time, she did what most people do—traveled here on weekends and holidays to enjoy our wonderful community.

She has served as president or board member of the Rim Country Senior Center for five years. She was also president of the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce for eight years.

June assisted in launching HOCRN and is very involved on a day-to-day basis. HOCRN has an amazing, dedicated, hard-working board of directors, which has made her involvement a rewarding experience.

June was born and raised in Oregon and moved to Arizona in 1987. She and her husband moved to Grants Pass, Oregon, late in 2022 to be near her mother. She continues to be licensed and active in real estate in Heber-Overgaard. Her hobbies include reading, walking on the beach, and baking.
